Call of Duty 4 patch 1.7

Yep, that’s right another patch has been officially released for call of duty 4, just weeks after the previous 1.6 patch was released. The cod4 1.7 patch fixes the following issues:
* Fixed an exploit that allowed players to access certain console dvars during multi-player matches.
* Fixed a crash that could occur when a Chinatown Sabotage match would go into over-time.
* Fixed a bug where the MP icons (Bomb, Defend, Capture, etc) were always showing up as English regardless of the install language.

The Call of Duty 4 1.6 patch and map pack for PC wasn’t technically supposed to be released until tomorrow for normal users but it has leaked and is now available to everyone. The 1.6 patch fixes several weapon bugs and a multiplayer server exploit, killcams are not in this patch due to technical issues but will be released in 1.7. The map pack gives PC users 4 free new maps, Broadcast, Chinatown, Killhouse and Creek.
